On Tuesday 23 May 2017, a talk on the administration of examinations was held in LG19. The talk was led by Professor Richard Fentiman (the Chair of the Faculty Board) and Dr Surabhi Ranganathan (Examinations Secretary).
The talk describes how the Faculty administers exams from start to finish. The process can seem mysterious from a student's perspective. This talk explains transparently how we ensure the fairness and rigour of all aspects of the examinations process. It is important that you have confidence in that process.
For the avoidance of doubt, the session is addressed to all students, whether you are taking examinations at Tripos, or for the LLM or the MCL degrees. Exam strategy will not be discussed.
