On this episode of Housekeys, host Cam Villa sits down with Broker/REALTOR® Latonya Smith to talk about her journey into real estate and property management.  Latonya took a leap of faith in 2001 and transitioned into property management, spending 11 years with the same company, focused on multi-family housing. This year, Latonya passed her broker exam to gain first-hand knowledge of every side of the business and now operates as a sole proprietor.

Today, Latonya values a quiet life and brings resilience, perseverance, and thick skin to a demanding industry with high turnover. A graduate of the SAR Intern Program (Class of Fall '25), Latonya credits mentors and instructors who helped shape her path and continues building a career rooted in experience, adaptability, and long-term growth.
