Using the analogy of Yards After Catch (YAC) in football, we discuss how, just like a wide receiver advances the ball after a catch, we are called to advance our spiritual walk with Jesus after receiving Him.
In Colossians 2:6-7, Paul teaches that receiving Jesus as Lord is just the beginning of our faith journey. To grow spiritually, we must "run with Him" by living a life grounded in faith, building upon our foundation in Christ, and overflowing with thankfulness. Just as a receiver's job is not done after the catch, our Christian life involves continual growth, strength, and gratitude.
