Many of you know Gino Wickman as the founder of EOS Worldwide, but there is so much more to his story beyond EOS and
Traction. Most recently, Gino launched his next great endeavor called Entrepreneurial Leap, which aims to discover entrepreneurs-in-the-making and help them realize their dreams. Age, geographic location, and expertise aside, Gino and the Entrepreneurial Leap team are working hard to help entrepreneurs-in-the-making recognize their purpose and lead the life they were born to lead.
Gino has always focused on coaching entrepreneurial leadership teams to get the most out of their businesses. He leads by example, having successfully grown and sold part of his business—a dream of every entrepreneur. But getting to witness, experience, and teach what makes a successful entrepreneur gave him the necessary tools to revisit the first part of that journey; the entrepreneurial leap. He explores this concept in his latest book, which is broken into three major sections titled "Confirm," "Glimpse," and "Path." It is designed to take readers on a journey and help them figure out whether or not they have what it takes to pursue entrepreneurship.
First, Gino helps you determine if you are truly an entrepreneur in the making by coaching you through a stringent list of expectations and defining traits. If you think you have what it takes, he provides you with a glimpse of what life with the six essential traits looks like, and what options you should explore as an entrepreneur. And finally, he lays out a path that you can take to avoid half of the mistakes you would've made and greatly increase your odds of success. An entrepreneur since the age of 21, Gino Wickman has dedicated his life to learning what makes businesses thrive.
At 25 he took over the running of the family business, which was deeply in debt and in need of help. After turning the company around and running it for seven years, he and his partners successfully sold the company.
Based on his years of real-world experience, Gino developed the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®), a practical method for helping companies achieve greatness. In the past 20 years, he has personally delivered over 1,900 full-day sessions with over 135 companies. The EOS Tools are being used by more than 76,000 companies worldwide.
