Women grow up hearing this message - good girls give and mothers are wonderful because they would sacrifice themselves for their children.

 

But this narrative of sacrifice needs to change so that women don't feel obligated to give up everything to their own detriment. 

 

Changing the story to one of service though enables you to give your all without having to give up everything.
