So my reason for transitioning into an entrepreneur was I had a story. So at one point I was 100 pounds overweight, really, really struggled. So I'm the client that would come into the fitness business owners gym, quite honestly joined and probably wouldn't continue. So I would stay in a program for maybe a few weeks. And I was that on again, off again, person. But finally, through a challenging situation, I had some health issues, and I needed to make a change that was kind of the driver to me getting my health together. So whenever someone loses 100 pounds, and manages to keep it off, people naturally want to know how they can create their own transformation. So that journey, and that's what I did for eight years.

So knowing who your ideal client is, and then getting really, really creative about how to distinguish yourself, and make sure that you stay in front of that audience, not just as an expert in your space, but I would say, as a thought leader, you want to be the person that causes people to shift their mindset around the topic that you lead in. And there is no better way to do that than being interviewed, you know, being in front of someone who has influence on an audience and being able to hold your own in that type of conversation and really show that you know what you're talking about? That's a huge way to distinguish yourself in the market. Yeah, and that's really key, right? Because I think a lot of people and I love what you said about creativity, like getting creative here. Right? I feel like a lot of people know, and I hope you know, if you don't know, like, you should write that down. Like, obviously, your ideal client, your ideal audience is obviously important.

Podcasting is one vehicle for that. But the ultimate answer is how you can leverage every means necessary to be more visible, and you'll have to decide what your primary vehicles are. For me, it's podcasting. But you've got to find the thing that you can excel at and be consistent at or find someone that can help you to dominate that space. Absolutely. Yeah. And it's in there's so many opportunities and like you said vehicles to do, right. It's like, you know, some people like to speak at summits and do workshops, and some people like to do a webinars and masterclasses and some people like to just do podcasts or YouTube videos, you know, but the key is, it's like, it's finding that one thing that you want to go all in on. And one thing that I found is like this day and age, I'm pretty in on podcasting, right, but like when you collaborate, it's funny, right? Like, say you have a podcast and say, like, we'll say somebody in the audience is like, say you're in the fitness space, right?

It's just a matter of practice, just like anything else, get someone that can help you to work through your nerves, and do it afraid. I love that. And we had a question come up from Ben who's watching on the live stream. It feels like he answered it, but I'm gonna get my take on it. And I'd love to hear your take. But like, I know, this is true for a lot of people, not just Ben, but not sure how to approach asking for a collab, but someone what I do. And I've been told, No, I love how he said that about Travis Chappelle, like, I've been told no by so many people. But guess what? I've had so many people that told me no, tell me yes. Now. They told me yes. And so what I do, and I would love to hear your take on this is either a, I'm going to invite them into my world. First, I'm going to say, hey, even if you're, you don't have a podcast right now. And you just have like a live stream that you can do.
“That's why I love podcasting because it just opens so many doors, like you said, the collaboration door, being able to repurpose content.”
