This is the opening of a 3-part interview with Zack Wood, one of the creative forces behind the iPhone game app CAFE MURDER. It will hit the app store on 5/31, and will be FREE for download on 5/31 and 6/1.
Part 1 covers what the CAFE MURDER game is about, and the story that it tells. Also, Sean recognizes that the game shares a similarity in theme to an old-school Atari title. More on that here, along with Zack's account of how a successful Kickstarter got the game started, though there was so much left to do.
Part 2 is about Zack's time in Japan, and the experience in working in the JET Program, and how it led him to discover the world of manga. Through a one-of-a-kind history course, and a job as a tour guide, he found the roots of the work that would inspire the manga that has spun-off from the CAFE MURDER game.
Part 3, for giggles, covers the ultimate sandwich---an important question to ask yourself as you toil through what will be an exciting.
Last thing --- this Saturday in Atlanta, there will be a Release Party for the CAFE MURDER game at 489 Edgewood Ave, in Atlanta. There's a Facebook invite also, which you can find here (https://www.facebook.com/events/550134751703964/?fref=ts)
Enjoy the interview, and know that while murder is a crime, it is no crime to enjoy CAFE MURDER!!
