The one thing our world is severely lacking is forgiveness. There are plenty of demands. There's plenty of tolerance. There's even a fair amount of apologising. But rarely is there much push for forgiveness. And yet this is the message of Jesus, Easter and the gospel. It is God's way for reaching reconciliation and restoration. And it is the calling of all people to learn. It's not easy. It's not popular. But forgiveness is critical in showing love, humility and Jesus to the world around us.
