They are questions that require an answer. For many people the idea that God is a God of love does not make sense when they see so much suffering in the world. Why did He allow the fifty thousand plus people to Perish in Syria and Turkey with the recent earthquake and now flooding? Why doesn’t He do something about Ukraine? Why do little kids die?” If God is a God of love… why doesn’t He do something?” As we draw near to our celebration of Good Friday and Easter, we find the answers to these questions. Not just ‘glib’ answers but profound responses that spell out how much God does love the world and how much He has done and still is doing.
