“Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” In the parable of the rich fool in Luke 12:13–21, Jesus warns us against greed and calls us to seek God’s kingdom first in our service and our finances. Rather than selfishly hoarding for personal gain, we are called to be rich in our giving to God and others.
