Description

For a number of years there has been passionate debate in this country about refugees and borders: who is in, who is out and who is drifting somewhere in between? Even within our city, perhaps even our suburb, we might observe distinct groups that guard their patch closely and are wary of 'outsiders'.
This could describe the church, at times. Today we see God do something long promised, but still startling to those who were there: he crosses the great divide between Jew and Gentile and brings both into his kingdom under Christ.
