When I first started bringing on team members, I made tons of mistakes. I didn’t set clear expectations. I didn’t give them the info and systems to be successful. Then blamed them for not being psychic. This may sound familiar to some of you, or maybe just a cautionary tale to others.
So today I wanted to walk through an overview of my team onboarding process in the same way I walked through client onboarding last week. Here are the basic steps and some things to look for to hire someone as a contractor and get them set up for success. These are the basics to either get you started if this is all new or to clean up your process if it isn’t exactly working.
