The Future tense is the a tense that expresses actions that have not yet occurred… the future

It is the equivalent of will or shall + verb in English
I will study in Mexico this summer. Estudiaré en México este verano.
Will you buy a new car this fall? ¿Comprarás un coche nuevo este otoño?

The Future is also used to express conjecture or probability

There will be a party this weekend. Habrá una fiesta este fin de semana.
I wonder what time it is? ¿Qué hora será?
It’s probably 2pm. Serán las dos

There are 3 great things about conjugating the Future Tense.
1. Most verbs are regular in the future.
2. The infinitive (the entire verb) serves are the stem for almost all verbs.
3. The endings are the same for all three conjugations…-ar, -er, and –ir verbs.

yo ... é ... trabajaré, aprenderé, escribiré
tú ... ás ... trabajarás, aprenderás, escribirás
él/ella/Ud. ... á ... trabajará, aprenderá, escribirá
nosotros ... emos ... trabajaremos, aprenderemos, escribiremos
vosotros ... éis ... trabajaréis, aprenderéis, escribiréis
ellos/ellas/Uds. ... án ... trabajarán, aprenderán, escribirán

There are a few verbs that are irregular in the future tense:

Here are verbs that drop the e from the infinitive before adding the future ending:
Haber-to have habr- habré
Poder-to be able podr- podré
Querer-to want querr- querré
Saber-to know sabr- sabré

Here are verbs that change e or i in the infinitive to ‘d’ before adding the future ending:
Poner-to put pondr- pondrá
Salir-to leave saldr- saldrá
Tener-to have tendr- tendrá
Venir-to come vendr- vendrá

Here are verbs that drop the c and the e from the infinitive before adding the future ending:
Decir-to say dir- diremos
Hacer-to do/make har- haremos
