John 4:46–54 tells the story of a royal official whose son is dying. He comes to Jesus and asks Him to heal the child. Jesus tells him, "You may go; your son will live." The man believes Jesus' word and leaves. On his way home, he learns his son was healed at the exact moment Jesus spoke. This becomes the second sign Jesus performed in Galilee, leading the official and his whole household to believe.
