John 2:13–25
Jesus goes to Jerusalem for Passover and clears the temple, driving out those who were selling and exploiting worshipers. He declares that the temple should be a place of true worship and points to his own body as the true temple. Though many believe because of his signs, Jesus knows the human heart and does not trust shallow faith.
