After an extensive PhD program blending psychology and shamanism, José Stevens had a chance encounter with a shaman from the indigenous Huichol people of Mexico (or was it chance?…). José and his wife Lena were invited to become apprentices of this shaman for a decade of training that has led to a lifetime of service teaching ancient wisdom to Westerners.

José Stevens PhD is an international lecturer, corporate team builder and organizational coach, consultant and trainer. A psychologist, licensed clinical social worker and author of more than twenty books and numerous articles. He is a board member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners.
