It's hard to imagine a better way to enjoy this historical fantasy than through the expert narration of Jamie MacKenzieMacKenzie smoothly portrays multiple characters with a variety of British, Irish, and Scots accents. The frenzied eagerness of the greedy "arachno-sapiens," the indignant squabbling of the Newgate prison ghosts, and the simpering voice of the sea witch give this audiobook performance a three-dimensional effect.
