Description

Part 1:
We talk with Laura Belin, of "Bleeding Heartland", and KHOT radio in Iowa.
We discuss the recent election of a State Senator in Iowa, where Caitlin Drey, a Democrat, replaced a Republican. Iowa Republicans thus lose a supermajority in their State Senate. This may indicate a shift in political opinions in Iowa due to the Trump policies.
Part 2:
We talk with Bill Curry and Timothy Noah, staff writer for The New Republic.
We discuss Trump's economy, and how it will affect the US long term. The changes in the labor market are affected by the immigration policies that now exist.
