This program begins our 36th season of broadcasts in Lorain County, in northern Ohio, our second year as a podcast. The schools represented in this academic quiz show have both produced championship-winning teams in past years. Keystone High School is in LaGrange, in the southern part of the county, and Vermilion High School is in the community adjacent to Lake Erie, spanning the northernmost sentions of Lorain and Erie counties.
Scholastic Games produces new competitions each year between Januaray and May. It is a series of seventeen weekly programs featuring up to sixteen area teams, with invitees from all public, private, parochial, and charter schools that are in the county, wholly or partially. The season includes playoffs and eliminations culminating in an annual championship. Over the years, twelve different area teams have achieved champion status, the latest being Avon High School in 2025.
