Driver Spotlight: Crystal Donaldson
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Crystal Donaldson is current a driver, contractor, and on the road to becoming a driver trainer at Stevens Transport.
Crystal began her driving career in April of 2020 when she enrolled in CDL training classes with Stevens Transport. Drawn in by the longer length of the training, she was impressed with the company’s dedication to their drivers, trainers, and students’ career opportunities, naming it the “best all-around training program” from start to finish.
Now that she has experience on the road, Crystal is looking forward to becoming a trainer for future truckers. She also has aspirations to start a secondary business with her own fleet. While Crystal has several goals she hopes to accomplish in her trucking career, she is grateful for the flexibility at Stevens Transport that allows her to reach these goals.
As a woman in the trucking industry, Crystal admits that things aren’t always easy. She has experienced negativity from others who don’t believe women belong in the field and aren’t afraid to show it through words and actions.
