When Sal and his son, Anthony, discover that they have no more of Grandpa's secret pizza spices, they decide to create their own recipe. As they experiment with the ingredients Sal tells Anthony that the family has been hounding him to create a franchise of his restaurant. He explains, however, that he really would prefer to live a simpler life and just have the one restaurant. In the process Sal teaches Anthony more than the secret recipe to a great pizza, he teaches him the recipe to a happy life.
