In 2020, just 3 years ago, interest rates were about half of what they are now, roughly 3.5%. As of today, rates are at almost 7% while home prices keep at a steady incline. If homes are priced right, they sell right away!
The average debt to income ratio right now is insane! It's difficult for prospective buyers to get qualified for a loan if their debt to income ratio is over 50%.
