A discussion of the two cinema adaptations of Anthony Schaffer's play Sleuth, in 1972 and, latterly written by Harold Pinter and directed by Kenneth Branagh, in 2007, and the 'spiritual remake' Deathtrap ten years after the first which was directed by Sidney Lumet from Ira Levin's play. All three of which starred Michael Caine.
