This Psalm was written when David had to fake insanity to escape danger as he was on the run from King Saul. David responds with thanksgiving in the midst of turbulent circumstances. This Psalm also speaks prophetically of Christ and His afflictions. Afflictions may be numerous and overwhelming in this life, but one day things will be set right by the hand of God, who is the final Judge. Colin Heinrich sings "I Sought the Lord".
