- Know your credit score - a 620 is minimum but over 780 is best
- Have a down payment - cover at least the tax and license on your RV
- Co-signers don't typically work for RV loans
- Finance as long as possible to have the lowest payments but make additional payments when you can to shorten the loan and reduce your interest
- Bonus: have a great relationship with a local credit union that does RV loans
- Working with a dealership doesn't cost more than if you went to the credit union itself but could save you a lot of time and frustration
