Reality hit in the form of 60-to-80 hour work weeks, not having the resources to complete daily never-ending to-do lists, corrupt administrative games, a culture of dishonesty and a total mental and physical breakdown. No longer proud of her work or passionate, Catie realized she had to find a way to reconnect nursing to her original childhood sense of love and purpose.
