Listen

Description

"With the empire on the brink of war, Connor Balcazar never expected to have a destiny. Though his family has served the galactic empire for generations, his older brother Adam has always outshone him in combat abilities and natural charisma. But Connor is determined to prove himself and master his hidden ability to see the future to assist Emperor Esteban any way he can."

In this episode, Terrance sits down with RD Moreno, author of the Zada-5 science fiction series. Rick shares how the pandemic and the Dune movie re-release inspired him to write his first 640-page space opera in just six months.
The conversation also covers practical advice for aspiring authors, including tips for book fairs and Comic-Cons, the reality of indie publishing versus traditional routes, navigating the BookTok community on TikTok, and why social media presence has become crucial for modern authors. Whether you're a sci-fi fan, aspiring writer, or curious about the indie publishing world, this episode offers inspiration and insider insights into the creative process.
