Are you a Berean Christian? Do you search the Scriptures to see if your Pastor is correct, as the Bereans did? In his message today, Pastor Terry admonishes us to test the preached word by searching The Bible. It's easy to passively listen to a sermon and neglect to dig in. By searching the Scriptures, we allow The Holy Spirit to talk to us about what the Pastor said. God's standard is The Bible. How do we know if what we heard matches that standard if we don't bother to look it up? Let's trust God to show us.
