One of the most profound lines of the old hymn we're probably all familiar with, Amazing Grace, is none other than “I once was blind, but now I see.” Just as with physical sight and being blind or having a cover over our eyes, each and every one of us is spiritually blind without Christ. In today's message, Pastor Terry reflects on the account of blind Bartimaeus and the significance of its metaphorical context regarding salvation. In our study, we learn that when we have an encounter with Jesus and put our faith in Him, we become born again and are no longer spiritually blind.
