The Bible contains several cultural references that we can easily miss if we're not careful to take the time and learn about the historical context. From different sayings, cultural norms, and even the proverbs of Jesus, there are several references that are tied closely to the culture at the time. In today's message, Pastor Terry reflects on a cultural reference that many of us have misinterpreted, the power of prayer and moving mountains. In our study, we learn that rather than a promise of being able to move literal mountains, Jesus was talking about the obstacles and hardships of life.
