Is there any greater family we can be a part of than God’s? As Pastor Terry shares in his message, we gain incredible gifts from joining the family of Christ. Perhaps the biggest blessing is the forgiveness of our sins. Christ paid the ultimate price so that sinners such as ourselves could be free. We are to take time to remember this blessing through the participation in communion which is a time for reflection on Christ’s death and resurrection. By taking out the time to reflect in such a way, we are honoring the great sacrifice made by our Savior.
