The life of a Christian is rarely smooth sailing. In fact, Jesus promised you would face trials and persecution for believing in Him. In today’s message, Pastor Terry encourages you to remember those who suffered for the faith before you. He names John the Baptist, Jesus, and Stephen. Also, eleven of the twelve apostles were martyred. This is not to discourage you, but instead to reinforce the truth that there is something so much greater than this life. People need to know Jesus and who better than you to bring them the Good News? Be bold for Christ and do not compromise.
