Only one man could go through the veil on the day of atonement, but when Jesus died for us, atonement was made available to all men. The Father was made available to all men. The veil—the stop sign—between us and him was dramatically torn in two and the presence of God was no longer sequestered in a room. When he died, Christ took upon Himself all our sin and gave to us his holiness. From that point, anyone who will believe in his name and profess him as Lord carries the righteousness of Christ!
