Joseph’s 10 elder brothers were jealous of him from the start because Joseph enjoyed his father’s favor. It is in these circumstances that God begins a good work in Joseph’s life. Throughout the turmoil and trial of Joseph’s youth, he found favor with the Lord. This favor would follow Joseph his entire life because Joseph’s faith never faltered or failed.
