There’s no such thing as a “fair-weather” disciple. Many self-proclaimed Christians live out their faith only as long as it’s good for them. The minute it threatens to hurt their social standing or career, it suddenly takes a much lower priority in their life. As Pastor Terry challenges us in today’s message, we are called to live sold out lives for Jesus. This means sacrifice and discomfort. It means losing friends and even family. It will not be easy. As Paul said, it means finding joy in the midst of suffering because we are bringing glory to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
