God the Father is flawless in His absolute perfection. This makes Him totally holy. However, all of mankind has missed the perfection mark because of sin. In today’s message, Pastor Terry teaches us that one of the primary roles of the Holy Spirit is to convict men of their sinfulness. It is this conviction that leads the sinner to understand his need for a Savior and to ask for forgiveness. When a sinner admits that he has missed the mark and asks Jesus for forgiveness, that person passes from death to life. We know that our salvation is sure when the Holy Spirit dwells within us.
