When we read the stories of Jesus healing and preaching to the crowds, we generally give very little thought to the crowd themselves. Our focus is understandably on our Savior. But, as Pastor Terry challenges us in today’s message, we can understand Jesus better if we consider the crowds that flocked to Him, and in turn His reaction to them. The majority of them came just to get something from Him. Maybe healing, or food, perhaps spiritual wisdom; it varied, but they all wanted something. And He kept on giving. He didn’t concern Himself with their motivation, but He gave to them out of an unconditional love and endless grace.
