Imagine facing your imminent, torturous death. This may cause you to pray. But what do you pray for? Reprieve, comfort, strength may be on your list of immediate prayers. Yet, as Pastor Terry teaches today, Christ had a different prayer. When facing a terrible death on the cross in mere hours, he prayed for others. He longed for believers to be strengthened and forgiven. And above all, He prayed for God to be glorified. His greatest desire was that God would be magnified and given glory for his grace and mercy.
