Since we are so involved in our daily lives here, we can quickly lose sight of the fact that this world is not our final destination. It's temporary. Our home is in heaven, and so is our hope. Today, Pastor Terry reminds us that if we can re-focus our attention to the heavenly realm and what awaits us there, it will enable us to better control our desires here. Whether we want a nicer house, a faster car or a better job, we can rest assured that whatever we may lack here will be more than fulfilled in heaven. Does that mean we become lazy and quit trying here? No, but neither do we yield to the sin of envy.
