There is much room for creativity and diversity and even debate within the church. We’re not all to believe exactly the same. We can’t allow the church to divide over non-essential doctrines of the faith. It’s more important to love one another than to get angry over little things. However, some will claim you’re being divisive if you resist lies about essential doctrines of the faith. These, Pastor Terry emphasizes today, are not up for debate. The integrity of God’s word, and the truth of the gospel must be the essential tenants of a Christian faith.
