It was hard for the disciples to believe Jesus when he said it was better for him to go away so that the helper could come. They couldn’t fathom how it could be better for Jesus to be taken from them. However, as Pastor Terry explains today, truly the helper, the Holy Spirit that Jesus sent after he left them, was better for them. The Holy Spirit guided them in truth, empowered them as they built the church, and inspired them to tell Jesus’ story. The Holy Spirit is in you as a believer, guiding you in truth and empowering you in your walk of faith.
