Today, Pastor Terry will be teaching on the importance of the Jewish Temple that King Solomon built. King Solomon's father, King David had the desire to build the temple for the Lord but God told him that because he was a man of war, his son would be the one to build it. Sometimes even when you have a godly desire to do something, it doesn't necessarily mean that you're the one God is calling to do it. King David helped his son with the materials and set him up for the task even though he wasn't allowed to actually build it. They worked together for the common good.
