We all have the innate desire for the love and affection of our fathers. If we admit it or not, it hurts when our dad turns his back on us. No amount of physical pain can come close to the pain of being rejected by a parent. In today’s message, Pastor Terry shows us how even Jesus experienced just such pain. Despite all the physical trauma of the cross, possibly the greatest pain was God turning His back on Jesus. That illustrated the way Jesus took on all of our sins so that we could have life!
