Abram had to make a choice: Would he bow his heart to the King of Salem or seek security with the King of Sodom? Even in the wake of defeat, the King of Sodom approaches Abram to strike a deal. As Pastor Terry exposes the danger of this visit, we should consider our response in the light of this choice. When God gives us the victory, we should expect a visit from the enemy. Like Abram, we can either choose to hold on to faith and be strengthened by the Lord or make concessions with the enemy, enslaving ourselves to the consequences of compromise with sin.
