In Genesis 32, Jacob has an encounter with God that completely alters the trajectory of His life. But before he has this encounter, Jacob finds himself all alone, with nothing to distract him from his despair. And in these conditions, God met with Jacob. Today, Pastor Terry reminds us that oftentimes, being in silence and solitude is the best environment to hear from God. By getting alone and seeking God, we might be able to hear things we were missing because we were distracted by the chaos of this world.
