As Pastor Terry continues his teaching series through the Book of Acts, he'll be reminding us that even though we may not agree with everything the government requires, we must use tact and wisdom. The Bible tells us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. We must submit to the governing authorities, but above all, we need to obey God first. If the government tells us to do something or refrain from doing something that God has commanded us, than we must first obey God. Peter and the Apostles in our text today show great wisdom while preaching the truth.
