God makes you holy, set apart, not because you are holy, but because Jesus was. Jesus was perfect and sacrificed His life so that you can be made new. Simply put, without the death of Jesus, you could never be truly good. It’s only in Jesus that you can be righteous. So stop trying to become perfect on your own. Rest in Him and His goodness.
