As Jesus explained in His parable of the Sower, the seed of the Gospel is so potent that it can take root and grow in the shallow soil of hearts that lack devotion. As Pastor Terry will explain in today’s message, if you’ve been a Christian for a while, you’ve known people like this. They convert with a zeal that you may feel jealous of. It’s contagious and beautiful to see their passion, but sadly, within a matter of months, when life takes a turn for the worse, they let the Gospel wither away in their hearts.
