All the Apostle Paul’s epistles make it clear that we are saved through faith alone. In other words, there is nothing we can do to earn our salvation or to add to Jesus’s finished work on the cross. However, in Philippians chapter 2, we learn that at the moment of our new spiritual birth, a lifelong process of sanctification begins. Pastor Terry teaches us that we are to work out our salvation and pursue Christ with a holy passion. Fortunately we do not have to do the work of sanctification alone, for the Lord promises to finish the work He began in us the day we were reborn.
