Hannah prayed a deeply intense and anguished prayer for a child. She poured out all her anger and pain into prayer. It’s clear in today’s passage that praying gut-wrenching and honest prayers to God are ok. The Lord isn’t offended by your honesty, even if all you can manage are groans in prayer. And today, Pastor Terry will encourage you with the reminder that God will meet you and change you if you pray with a heart bent to Him. Give your burdens to God because He is much stronger than you! Ultimately, prayer isn’t about your will, but that God’s will be accomplished.
